Creating Catherine's Signature Harry Potter Ring

I spent a day documenting jeweller Catherine Hills in her workshop as she handcrafted one of her signature Harry Potter rings. Known for her distinctive designs and meticulous craftsmanship, Catherine’s work blends storytelling with traditional jewellery-making techniques. My approach focused on authentic, behind-the-scenes photography—capturing the creative process, tools, textures, and quiet concentration that define her practice. As a commercial and editorial photographer, I specialise in visual storytelling for makers and creatives, producing natural, atmospheric imagery for use in branding, marketing, and PR. This project showcases the artistry and personality behind a truly original British jewellery brand.
